REQUEST FOR LETTERS OF INTEREST
New Hanover County is currently involved in the administration of North Carolina Office of State Budget and Management – Disaster Recovery Section. During the course of the projects, New Hanover County will require services from a North Carolina Licensed Asbestos Inspector. The submitting firm shall provide the local government with asbestos inspection reports required for the rehabilitation or reconstruction of approximately 18 residential structures in New Hanover County, North Carolina.
The approved inspector shall perform a full site inspection for asbestos in accordance with all rules, policies, and procedures of the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (NCHHS), produce an asbestos inspection report in conformance with 15A NCAC 19C.0601-0607, and provide it to the designated Project Manager for New Hanover County.
If your firm is interested in providing services to New Hanover County for these programs, please respond by February 17, 2020. New Hanover County requires a letter of interest including your lump-sum inspection fee for each of the units to be inspected, and a fixed price per each processed sample. Since the county will require a quick turnaround for inspections, please also indicate your firm’s average response time for submission of the completed inspections following a notice to proceed.
